How this guide is made · Malaysia

The rules every page on vtg-malaysia.com follows: one question per page, a dated source beside every changeable figure, and a short list of things the guide refuses to say.

One page, one question

Each page here exists to answer one question a reader in Malaysia actually asks: how the sign-in works, what a swap-free line replaces, what the first deposit decides, where a complaint goes. The question is chosen from measured search demand, not from a list of keywords worth ranking for, and when two pages start answering the same question one of them is withdrawn rather than reworded.

That constraint is also what keeps the pages short of padding. If a paragraph is not part of the answer, it does not earn its place, and a section that exists only to repeat the brand name is removed at the editing stage.

Every changeable figure carries its source and the date it was read

Deposits, spreads, commissions, margin call and stop out levels, licence numbers, the regulator's record — all of these move. The rule on this site is that such a figure is published only together with the page it was read from and the date it was read, and that pairing is kept in the site's own register of facts rather than in a writer's memory. At the last check that register held 22 entries, each with a source address and a check date.

A figure that cannot be paired with a source is not published at all. Not softened, not hedged with «reportedly» — left out. That rule is the reason some questions on this site end with «this has not been verified» instead of a number.

Published is not measured, and the two are never mixed

A price a broker publishes on its own terms page is a starting point it chose to advertise. A price someone measured on a live terminal is an observation with a time and a method attached. They are different kinds of fact and this guide labels them differently: published figures say where they were published and when they were read, measured figures would have to say what was measured, how, and at what moment.

This site has not measured spreads, execution speed or support response times for Vantage Markets. Where a page needs one of those, it says it was not measured instead of borrowing a number from somewhere else.

What a page is not allowed to say

No page here promises income, recovery of a loss or approval of a withdrawal. No page gives personal investment advice or tells a reader what to trade — the guide explains mechanics and costs, and the decision stays with the reader. No page presents this site as Vantage Markets or as any broker, and no page claims a licence, an authorisation or a supervisory body for this site.

Religious rulings are outside the remit too. A swap-free account is described as a product feature, with the question of permissibility left to qualified religious authority, because that is not a judgement a website about trading costs is competent to make.

When a page changes, and who changes it

Dated facts are re-read at least quarterly and immediately whenever a source changes. A change is made in the site's single source of truth, so a corrected figure reaches every page that uses it in the next build rather than being patched on one page and left stale on another. The build stamp at the foot of a page is the date that build ran.

Responsibility sits with the desk that publishes the page, not with an individual author — the reasoning for that is on the page about what qualifies the desk. The route for reporting an error, and what happens to it, is set out in source rules and read dates. This build: 2026-09-15.
